A Stone’s Throw Away is an ideal setting for your intimate and romantic Bahamas wedding. We offer full rentals of both our ocean view patio, lush backyard, and pool area for couples looking to tie the knot in a truly memorable way. We specialize in small gatherings that focus on community, joy, and traditional Bahamian details to ensure that your happy day is one you will remember forever.

Here, you will find our options for venue rentals, costs, and optional add-ons, including renting our entire property for your event. We also highly recommend booking a consultation or tour with us so we can show you what we have to offer in terms of customizing your special day.

THINGS TO KNOW

  • We want your wedding to be fully customizable according to your needs and therefore we do not provide a DJ, bartender, bar items, dishware, glassware, cutlery, decorations, tents, chairs or tables, but we are happy to connect you with local suppliers and wedding planners who will help your vision bloom at A Stone’s Throw Away.
  • We are located in a residential neighborhood and therefore, we require that music choices be played at a quiet level.
  • Event planners can arrive the day before to begin preparations and arrive early the day of the event to finalize decorations or other details.
  • Booking: You will be required to provide us with a valid credit card and ID to reserve the rooms. Please be aware that guest check-in is at 2 PM and checkout is at 11 AM.
  • A non-refundable deposit of ½ down payment is required in order to secure the dates for the event. Upon booking, any balance payable will be due 10 days prior to your arrival/event date.

EXCLUSIVE RESORT ACCESS

$5,000

Plus $150 cleaning fee
150 people maximum

Rent our entire property, including at least 1 night’s stay for your guests in our 10 rooms and suites, to eliminate transport stress and to enhance bonding time amongst your wedding party and guests. This option includes a minimum of 1 night's stay with additional nights where required, and includes the 10% VAT.

Guests are to provide their own caterer & there is a $350 surcharge for use of our kitchen and stoves.

SEASIDE DECK

Have the gorgeous crystal-blue waters of the Caribbean as the backdrop to your nuptials on our stunning and expansive wooden deck, with breathtaking views of the ocean and a large pergola that you can decorate with flowers or lanterns. Watch the sky turn from blue to pink when the sun sets as you say your “I DOs".

GARDEN & POOL

Our lush gardens, full of thick native vegetation and our pool, complete with waterfall, make a great option for those who want the intimacy of a garden wedding and the sound of the water as a backdrop for their vows. Featuring several romantic private nooks and benches, this is a lovely option for those who want the feel of the tropics with the coolness of the jungle.

Feel like staying in? Electric Daisy provides curbside pickup of delicious meals for those who would rather eat in the comfort of their home. Orders can be placed Wednesday-Sunday, from 11 AM to 7:30 PM. Take-out orders can be arranged between 3 to 8 PM.
