Come join us at Bombay cafe an Indian restaurant in Nassau for a truly unique culinary experience, where our chefs prepare traditional dishes that are an exploration of time-honored recipes and tastes from India that enhance and complement the warm breezes and salty waves of the Caribbean.
We strive to keep our menu simple and yet cover a wide variety of regions and tastes, with spicy curries and fresh ingredients that reflect the rich and complex breadth of dishes that make up Indian cuisine. Whether it’s a delicious chicken curry, a traditional tandoori, fresh samosas or a paneer masala, join us for a culinary adventure you won’t soon forget.
Our Indian restaurant at Nassau, Bahamas serves its curries, biryanis, and chilis family-style, meaning that our diners are able to sample many dishes over the course of their meal and experience a variety of different Indian regional cuisines. We recommend have several starters such as our refreshing chicken tika or onion pakoda snacks to start, and then choosing either a masala, curry, or biryani for a main, coupled with a side dish such as raita (our cooling yogurt sauce) or chapati (roti) bread to dip into your dish. Diners are also able to choose between sitting in our indoor dining space or on our beautiful patio overlooking the Caribbean ocean from one of the highest points in Nassau.
Serving both lunch and dinner, our chefs are dedicated to bringing you the best of unique tastes and staple spices. Skip the crowded lines and loud restaurants at the major resorts, and experience an intimate cultural and culinary journey at Bombay Cafe; authentic Indian food with a Caribbean twist.
Closed on Mondays.
Guests are welcome to enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast every morning from 7am to 10am, either in our cozy dining room or on our beautiful balcony, overlooking the ocean below. Continental breakfast includes a cold buffet with fresh coffee, a selection of teas, juice, bagels and toast, fresh baked muffins, cereals, yogurt, and fresh seasonal fruits.
We are pleased to announce that our renovations are going as planned and in February 2024 we will be adding a bar to our hotel that will serve Bahama-inspired cocktails and locally-sourced rums and spirits.
The bar will have patio and deck seating, as well as televised sporting events, so you can still root for your favorite teams while relaxing on vacation. We are very much looking forward to continuing to bring the best in island hospitality to all of our present and future guests.
